"We can sort of 'guestimate' that days in triple-digit heat this year will be somewhere on the order of 70, give or take 10," Keith White, another meteorologist with the NWS, said last week."That will depend on whether or not we're able to see some rain in the late summer and early fall, but nothing's looking favorable for that."
