Ms Campbell recorded 19,561 votes, while Darren Henry finished in second place with 11,158
Labour candidate Juliet Campbell overturned a Tory majority of almost 5,000 to win back the seat of Broxtowe.
The Broxtowe result is watched closely by parties and pundits as the outcome is a reliable pointer to who will end up in power - since 1983, whichever party has won in Broxtowe has gone on to be in government. It was held by Nick Palmer during the New Labour years, and Conservatives Anna Soubry and Darren Henry since 2010.
