Filipino actor Richard Gomez is one proud dad toward daughter Juliana, after she became champion at the University Athletic Association of the Philippines's épée fencing for women.
On Instagram, Richard shared a clip of Juliana, who hails from the University of the Philippines, dueling with Rowena Vergara of De La Salle University. "You are now uaap champion!!!" he wrote in his post's caption."Hard work and understanding of the game has set in."Juliana thanked her dad"for everything" in the comments section and also told him she loves him."Congratulations!!!! More videos please!" Marjorie Barretto wrote.Juliana, 22, is Richard's daughter with Lucy Torres-Gomez.
Juliana became a fencer because of the very fact that her parents are fencers themselves. Richard practiced the sport during his younger years and was among the Philippine delegates during the 1995 Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.
