There will always be queer people in Saskatchewan. And as long as there are queer people here, there will be queer joy. saskatchewan
But finding hope in the face of adversity is not the only reason why I write this series. Even in a world without ignorance or discrimination, I would still celebrate queer life in Saskatchewan.It’s a perfectly natural thing that happens every day — just another part of the sky, no better or worse than any other part of the sun’s traversal.
No one can stop the sun from rising and trying to ignore it would be a fool’s errand. Besides, how dismal would our lives be if we didn’t stop to be delighted by this beautiful daily moment?
