Un juez aprobó el viernes la libertad condicional de un hombre designado como depredador sexualmente violento y mudarlo a una casa en Jacumba Hot Springs. David Muñoz, de 58 años, será liberado a más tardar el 7 de junio a una casa en 45612 Old Highway 80, donde vivirá bajo supervisión.
El supervisor del condado, Joel Anderson, cuyo distrito incluye Jacumba Hot Springs, presentó una carta en oposición a la liberación de Muñoz en la que alegaba que Liberty Healthcare “sigue apuntando a la comunidad de Jacumba como un vertedero de SVP”. Anderson escribió que el 57 por ciento de los SVP liberados del condado han sido ubicados en Jacumba Hot Springs y el 71 por ciento de ellos están en el Distrito 2.
