It’s been almost two weeks since Dr. Milton Fields was placed on leave and Judson ISD district leaders aren’t saying why. At tonight’s Judson ISD school board meeting people shared their disappointment in the board member’s recent behavior on social media, and their lack o0f transparency about the superintendent’s removal.
David Galisco, a 2010 Wagner High School graduate, says he’s not proud to be a Judson ISD graduate after his former principal Dr. Milton Fields was placed on paid administrative leave. “I think this is a total witch hunt that’s going on,” Galisco said. “There is no probable cause for his removal or administrative leave, and if there were you guys owe us transparency.” Others expressed their disapproval of some Judson ISD board members alleged lack of leadership on social media. “In the past two weeks I have seen board members not only post blatant lies, but I’ve also seen FERPA protected information released by a board member. I’ve seen board members attacked for allegedly abusing their spouse. To put the icing on the cake I’ve seen a board member attack a person’s religious constitution.While a superintendent report was on tonight’s meeting agenda it did not address Dr. Fields being placed on paid administrative leave.
