The lawsuit is one of several brought forward by Wisconsin parents over school gender identity policies this year.

In January, a group of 14 parents moved forward with theiragainst the Madison Metropolitan School District, alleging that the district's gender support plan allows children to undergo gender transitions without parental consent.

WILL and ADF are representing parents in that case as well, arguing that the approach must be removed to "prevent lifelong harm to minors and preserve parents’ constitutional rights."
