Legal counsel for Held v Montana has called this ruling a “game changer” in the younger generations’ efforts to save the planet.
“The MEPA limitation violates plaintiffs’ right to a clean and healthful environment,” today’s ruling said.The trial for Held v Montana ran from June 12 to June 20 and included testimony from 10 expert witnesses on behalf of the plaintiffs. They testified thatnegatively affecting environmental and public health.
