New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan will have to tell the jury in former President Donald Trump's criminal trial about a 'big issue' relating to the accusations, a legal expert said this week.Criminal defense attorney Joey Jackson appeared on CNN's News Central on Wednesday to discuss Trump's New York trial, in which he is accused of arranging hush money payments to be provided to former adult film star Stormy Daniels.
Trump was indicted last April with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg saying that the former president 'fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal crimes that hid damaging information—including a $130,000 hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels—from the public during the 2016 presidential campaign.
