A federal judge in Los Angeles is facing a lawsuit after an alleged underage drinking party at his home resulted in a guest being assaulted and hospitalized.
A federal judge in Los Angeles who presided over Hunter Biden's criminal tax fraud case is facing a lawsuit over an alleged underage drinking party at his home. Alex Wilson, the injured guest, filed the suit against U.S. District Judge Mark Scarsi and his wife, Laura Scarsi, claiming negligence in allowing teenagers from various schools, including Loyola High School and St. Francis High School, to consume alcohol without proper supervision.
The party, which occurred sometime in 2023, resulted in a fight among heavily intoxicated underage minors on the Scarsis' property. Wilson alleges that Jackson Dorlarque assaulted him, causing a traumatic brain injury and hospitalization for over two weeks. Wilson is seeking unspecified damages, arguing that the Scarsis failed to properly supervise the party and are liable for injuries sustained due to underage drinking
