Sinnott was urged not to prosecute those charged with disorderly conduct and other misdemeanors by Suffolk County District Attorney Rachel Rollins and the accused's individual defense attorneys, but Sinnott"By compelling arraignment in every case, the judge punished the exercise of individuals' First Amendment right to protest.
