Tesla's Musk has two weeks to explain why he's not in contempt of court: judge
to explain by March 11 why he shouldn't be held in civil contempt. On Monday, the Securities and Exchange Commission said his tweet about Tesla making around 500,000 cars in 2019 was made without pre-approval.
In October, the court ordered that Musk must comply with procedures implemented by Tesla that would require Musk to seek pre-approval of any written communications, including social media posts, that contained or reasonably could contain information material to Tesla or its shareholders.
