A New York judge has rejected former President Donald Trump's request to postpone his sentencing scheduled for January 10th in the Manhattan criminal case. Trump was convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records related to hush money payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign. The judge's decision comes despite Trump's legal team's arguments based on the Supreme Court's presidential immunity ruling and claims of a politically motivated prosecution.
A judge in New York has denied a motion filed by President-elect Donald Trump to stay the Jan. 10 sentencing in the New York v. Trump case. Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in the Manhattan case in May 2024.

'The American People elected President Trump with an overwhelming mandate that demands an immediate end to the political weaponization of our justice system and all of the remaining Witch Hunts.
