The SUV was recovered minutes later at the CVS on Town Center parkway, and the baby was found safe. The suspected car thief got away. It’s not known why the thief ditched the SUV less than a mile away from where it was taken, but it may be because the baby was inside. News4JAX had a camera at the CVS where the SUV was found and obtained video of the baby with a woman, and police.
