The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported person shot in the Magnolia Gardens area at 5700 Begonia Rd. Sunday afternoon.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that one person was killed in a shooting in a Magnolia Gardens neighborhood at 5700 Begonia Rd. Sunday afternoon.

According to JSO, at around 1:55 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the neighborhood of Magnolia Gardens to a reported shooting.Currently, JSO Homicide and Crime Scene Detectives are on the scene conducting the initial investigation. Early reports indicate the victim was shot during some type of altercation. At this point, it is believed all parties involved are accounted for and this appears to be an isolated incident.
