Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters announced on Tuesday that one of his officers, Justin Marino, had been arrested for driving his patrol car under the influence while off-duty after a domestic dispute.
The incident occurred just after midnight Tuesday following a domestic dispute which prompted a response from the Sheriff.
In response to the incident, Sheriff T.K. Waters stated that no one, including his own officers, is above the law. Dale Carson, an expert in law and safety at Action News Jax with decades of law enforcement experience says he has seen this from Officers before.
