A man was shot Tuesday morning during an attempted robbery at the Cimarron Apartments on Arlington River Drive, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
The suspect fired multiple shots at the man while trying to steal something from him, according to JSO.
The victim was able to leave the area to call 911. He was then transported to the hospital, according to JSO. His injuries are not life-threatening. A building and car were struck by gunfire during the incident, but nobody else was injured, police said.
