The trial for Andre Jackson, the man charged with murder in the 2016 stabbing of 11-year-old Josue Flores in Houston, is set to begin on Monday.
A grand jury indicted Andre Jackson in 2019 for the murder of the Houston boy who was killed while walking home from school.
Around 4:45 p.m., a citizen flagged down officers near Fulton and James Street to report the stabbing.
