Josie Gibson is said to be 'gutted and hurt' over not landing a full-time role on This Morning, after Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were announced as the show's new permanent presenters.
The source added that Alison Hammond was also offered a full-time role instead of Josie, but opted to 'turn it down' as she 'doesn't want the responsibility'. This Morning will hope to move forward with Cat and Ben after the ITV show found itself embroiled in scandal following the departure of Phillip Schofield last year.
