Joshlin Smith: Dog unit comes up empty after Saldanha Bay residents complain of pungent smell in bushes
Western Cape police deployed the K9 Unit to Middelpos in Saldanha Bay at the weekend after residents reported a pungent smell coming from bushes in the area.
It has been more than two months since the six-year-old disappeared from her family home in Middelpos on 19 February. Her mother, Racquel"Kelly" Smith, has since been arrested and charged along with three others - Jacquin Appolis, Kelly's boyfriend, Stevano van Rhyn, and Lourencia Lombaard - for kidnapping and human trafficking related to Joshlin's disappearance.
