Actor Joseph Quinn has exited Bryan Ellis's upcoming film 'Relapse' to take on the role of George Harrison in Sam Mendes's Beatles project. Ellis expressed understanding and support for Quinn's decision, acknowledging the significance of the Beatles role. 'Relapse' tells the story of a man who undergoes an existential crisis after witnessing a death at a party and entering rehab.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Ellis opened up about his upcoming movie. While Quinn was initially reported to star in the film months ago, the author said that after being offered the role of George Harrison in“I think somewhere during that fall, we found out that our leading man Joseph Quinn , who had been dutifully waiting around to make this movie . . .

Ellis, who is known for writing the iconic novel American Psycho as well as The Rules of Attraction and The Informers is also set to write Relapse, which is said to be about a man who witnesses a death at a party and goes onto an existential crisis after entering rehab. Despite Quinn leaving the project, Ellis said he has no bad feelings about it and knows Quinn’s role in the Beatles film is a once-in-a-lifetime situation.
