"We have seen that with an individual we arrested last week in Houston had studied how to build bombs and posted online about his support for killing Jews," Wray said during his testimony. Under his current legal status in the U.S., the 20-year-old is not allowed to possess weapons or ammunition, according to the complaint.
A judge signed a document saying that Abuayyash should remain in custody until trial because there are not any conditions that guarantee the safety of others and the community.
