Jordana Brewster is a mainstay in the Fast & Furious franchise, but the actress does have one regret when it comes to how she played Mia.
, Brewster said that — after a gap in appearances between the first and fourth films — she was excited to return to the series, but regrets that her character didn’t retain their “grittiness” in the fourth film, Fast & Furious.
“I think there was a gap between one and four when I came back. When I came back, I was so excited and so happy, and it was just like this gift that then kept on giving because now we’re at,” said Brewster. “But I recently watched one, four, and five, and Mia had this grittiness that in that I, it didn’t come back till five. So, I kind of feel like I sh-t the bed in four, and I regret it. I wish I could like time-travel and redo that one.
Thankfully for Brewster, she was happy to see the grittiness come back for the film’s fifth entry, Fast Five. All in all, Brewster has appeared in seven of the 10 Fast & Furious movies that have come out, having not appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and The Fate of the Furious.

It’s unclear if that is still the plan, however, as of the time of this writing.Anthony Nash has been writing about games and the gaming industry for nearly a decade.
