Radio presenter Jordan North has broken his silence on his BBC Radio 1 exit, admitting he left of his 'own accord', as he prepares to join the team at Capital Breakfast
Jordan North has addressed his BBC Radio 1 exit, revealing it was his choice to leave his role on the drivetime show. The radio presenter announced his sudden exit from the broadcaster in February, before revealing he will be joining the Capital Breakfast team in April.
Jordan opened up on his podcast, Help I Sexted My Boss, which he co-hosts with William Hanson. William joked that when they began the podcast six years ago Jordan was "unemployed by the BBC". Jordan and William began hosting Help I Sexted My Boss in 2018. The podcast aims to offer advice to listeners who have encountered modern day problems. The pair marked six years of their podcast with a special episode.
Roman, 31, completed his final Capital Breakfast show on 28 March. Jordan's exact start date is yet to be confirmed, but he will begin presenting the show at some point in April.
