Marie Moreau and Jordan Li have an enemies-to-lovers relationship in Gen V, with co-showrunner Michele Fazekas explaining their journey.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Gen V co-showrunner Michele Fazekas explains why Marie Moreau and Jordan Li have gone from enemies to lovers in The Boys spinoff series. There was initially a great deal of tension between Marie and Jordan. The friction began with Jordan barring Marie from Professor Brink's crimefighting class and worsened with Marie taking the credit for fending off Golden Boy even though Jordan was the real hero in that situation.
As we were breaking out the entire season, we really liked the idea of Marie and Jordan starting out where they really dislike each other, but they’re also very similar. They both are these hard-charging characters who see the world in black and white and have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. They’re a lot more alike . And I really liked exploring that with Marie.
