Jordan Love sustained an injury to his throwing arm during the Green Bay Packers ' Week 18 loss to the Chicago Bears. Love departed the game in the second quarter and was succeeded by Malik Willis after injuring his right elbow. Willis concluded the game, completing 10 of 13 passes for 136 yards and guided the team on two scoring drives in the fourth quarter to help the Packers seize a one-point lead with less than a minute remaining.
Post-game, Love addressed the media and provided an update on his well-being. According to the quarterback, he was still experiencing numbness, but intended to play when the Packers confront the Eagles in the wild-card round. Jordan Love stated he still has some numbness in his hand but doesn't believe it will hinder him next week. Packers coach Matt LaFleur also affirmed that Love would be prepared for the playoffs, stating he was sidelined as a precautionary measure.
