At a meeting held just inside the Jordanian border, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and his counterpart Ayman Safadi approved Israel's sale of 50 million cubic metres of water to its neighbour. The two agreed to increase Jordan's potential exports to the West Bank from about USD 160M a year to approx 700M dollars, of which $470M will be included under Palestinian trade regulations , with the rest handled in accordance with Israel's trade regulations .With regards to water matters, the two foreign ministers agreed that Israel will sell an additional 50 million cubic meters of water to Jordan this year.
