Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is under plenty of scrutiny at present following his performance against Bayern Munich in midweek
Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has offered David de Gea's difficult stints at Old Trafford as reassurance to Andre Onana following criticism of his recent performances.
His most recent error came in midweek when he let Leroy Sane's strike squirm between his hands to give Bayern Munich the lead in the Champions League. "It’s a big thing for him to do that," the centre back told TNT Sports. "He didn't have to do that. But I think it's very difficult for any player coming to a new club to hit the ground running and maybe he’s been a bit harsh on himself. I've seen that quite a lot and I've experienced that myself.
