Jonathan Taylor’s relationship with the Colts does not seem to be in a good place.
saying, “We have negotiated a CBA, that took years of effort and hard work and compromise in good faith by both sides.
“To say now that a specific player category wants another negotiation after the fact, is inappropriate. Some Agents are selling ‘bad faith.’” Jonathan Taylor and Colts owner Jim Irsay reportedly cannot be in a “much worse” stance in their relationship.the following day that his comments were not targeted at Taylor, 24, while also saying the Colts have not made an offer to the running back who is entering the final year of his rookie contract and will earn $4.3 million in base salary.Taylor’s agent admits that he doesn’t believe the two can mend their relationship after ESPN Ian Rapport tweeted in support of that.
At the start of opening training, Taylor was placed on the physically unable to perform list while recovering from offseason ankle surgery.Due to injuries, Taylor was limited with the Colts last season to just 11 games and he tallied career-low rushing yards with 861 and rushing touchdowns with four.
Taylor was drafted by the Colts in the 2020 NFL Draft as the No. 41 overall pick, and he put out his best performance in the 2021 season, finishing second in the Offensive Player of the Year voting after leading the NFL in rushing attempts , rushing yards , rushing touchdowns , yards from scrimmage and total touchdowns .
