Majors expected to attend the Met Gala on May 1 as a representative of fashion house Valentino, but will no longer be in attendance after he “mutually agreed” with the brand to skip the event, Deadline says.
On March 25, Majors was arrested in NYC on charges of assault and harassment over an alleged domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman believed to be his romantic partner. He was arraigned the following day. Per the authorities, the alleged victim was taken to the hospital with “minor injuries to her head and neck.” The Manhattan district attorney’s office is reportedly still investigating the alleged incident.
