Jon Stewart responded to what Mitch McConnell said Monday morning about him and the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund.
When asked about Stewart on Monday, McConnell said, “We have never failed to address this issue and we will address it again. I don’t know why he’s all bent out of shape.” He later added, “It sounds to me like he’s looking for some way to take offense.”
Stewart even went so far as to accuse McConnell of playing politics with the lives of 9/11 first responders. Stewart then told McConnell how to find out for himself why he, and others, are so bent out of shape.
