Two teen girls were robbed at gunpoint in south suburban Joliet Thursday, spurring a shelter-in-place, police say.
Thursday, August 22, 2024 8:36PMJOLIET, Ill. --Joliet police responded to the 500-block of Silver Falls Street about 10:55 a.m. for a report of a robbery.
The girls chased the suspect as he ran east through the neighborhood. He was last seen near a home in the area. Two people are in custody, with possible charges pending, police said, but the male suspect remains at large.
