Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Singapore PM Lee Hsien Loong seek closer ties with Malaysia.
JAKARTA: Indonesian President Joko Widodo sent a congratulatory message to Muhyiddin Yassin after he was sworn in as the eighth prime minister by the King today. The message was sent via the Twitter account of Jokowi’s spokesman, Fadjroel Rachman, via his Twitter account @fadjroel. “President Jokowi congratulates Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s inauguration; God-willing it will be successful.Earlier, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong also congratulated Muhyiddin.“I am confident Singapore’s long-standing and multi-faceted relationship with Malaysia will grow under his leadership, and benefit both the peoples,” he added.
