Gamers it's your chance to help the Air Force develop combat strategies on a gaming platform.

SAN ANTONIO - During the tournament teams of five play to defend deployed locations from multi-domain attacks while continuing to generate fighter aircraft missions. The game requires gamers to make critical mission decisions and use strategies, and puzzle-solving skills for participants to be successful.

GameX participants will help the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center better understand their challenges and use their feedback to determine strategies and resources. Cash prizes up to $1,000 will be awarded daily and door prizes will be given out throughout each day. GameX is an initiative under the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center contract with MITRE San Antonio.Open to military members, DoD civilians, and members of the general public ages 18 and up .Solo players or five-person teams can sign up. Solo entrants will be combined to form five-person teams.Start time is 8 a.m. CDT and the tournaments will run to about 7 p.m. with breaks throughout the day.
