JOHOR BARU: The new Johor Umno leadership is giving its full support to the state government under Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.
State Umno chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said a secretariat had been formed comprising representatives from Johor Umno and the state government to ensure that the two groups work together to benefit the people.
"They will sit down and discuss things that can further strengthen the position of the party in the state government and carry out initiatives to benefit the people," he said after chairing the Johor Umno meeting at its headquarters here in Johor Baru on Saturday . "We will make sure that Umno rises again and this can be done by supporting party leaderships that received mandates to lead ," he said.
