KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 18 ― A Johor man didn’t think twice before jumping into a lake nearby Kampung Jorak Elahi in Bukit Pasir, after a Perodua Myvi plunged into it.
“The driver was already struggling when I saw him and he was calling for help and I straight away jumped into the lake without thinking any further because they were in need,” Suzaini said. “I was driving and I saw a car that had crashed into the lake and I immediately stopped before noticing two victims with one in the passenger's seat while the other one was at the back, trying to hold on to the car’s body.
Fortunately the two passersby had come to help and we managed to pull both the victims to safety with a tree branch,” he said. “The car was driven by a male driver along with two friends who were on their way from Tongkang Pechah heading towards Batu Pahat.
