LOS ANGELES — Dillon Johnson strode into the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday afternoon accompanied by such University of Washington football stalwarts as Michael Penix Jr., Rome Odunze, Roger Rosengarten and Troy Fautanu.
"I'm kind of a physical runner," said Johnson, the Mississippi State transfer who joined the UW this past spring."The O-line did a great job of making holes for me. My day was really kind of easy. I just hit whatever hole was open." For Johnson, his big outing was further gratification for him after he came to Seattle in recovery from a knee injury suffered with his SEC team, re-injured it in spring ball that required a second surgery and was slow to start the season, sitting out against Tulsa.
