, this week lawyers for Heard questioned Depp about one drug photo from March 2013, taken in her home, that displayed a full glass of what appears to be whiskey and thin white lines said to be cocaine.

In a clip of the seven-hour-long testimony, Heard’s attorneys alleged Depp used both before starting an argument with his now ex-wife, which caused his late arrival on set while working on a documentary. Depp disputed the characterization, noting that he had called the crew to let members know about his later-than-anticipated arrival and added that his presence was not necessary for the work being done on the documentary that day.Article content

On cross-examination, Depp confirmed he had earlier fallen off the wagon and when asked if he sometimes drank whiskey in the mornings during this time, the testimony clip shows him responding, “Isn’t happy hour anytime?”Heard’s lawyers also referenced a photo displaying what appear to be four bags of cannabis, with Depp reporting the location was a recording studio he owned,In another court clip posted on Twitter, when Heard’s counsel noted the bags of weed were “pretty huge,” Depp agreed.
