Closing arguments in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard $50 million defamation case wrapped up on Friday as the six-week trial comes to a close in Fairfax County.

Circuit Court in Virginia over a 2018 op-ed she wrote identifying herself as a victim of domestic abuse, which he says ruined his reputation and career. Johnny Depp's lawyers question Amber Heard on the 2018 Washington Post op-ed she wrote that she claims is not solely about Depp.

"We’re asking you to finally hold this man responsible," she told the jury. "He has never accepted responsibility for anything in his life." Vasquez accused Heard of doctoring the photos and said evidence that Heard has embellished some of her injuries is proof that all her claims of abuse are unfounded.

Amber Heard was asked by her lawyers if she ever faked any injuries she blamed on Depp, which she strongly denied. Heard also discussed why she was confused by images of a past incident where she claims she was abused by Depp saying that the incident was one of many and it was hard to remember each. Heard then finished her time on the stand detailing the impact of Johnny Depp's counter allegations against her, saying they are an echo of the abuse she suffered during their relationship.
