“I’ve been somewhat overwhelmed by the requests that have been made for me to do that, with many, many messages from many colleagues across the party. He said he had “many” requests from colleagues to stand and plans to carefully consider whether or not to stand and to discuss it with his family.He served as deputy first minister between 2014 and 2023.Yousaf announced he would quit today after a botched decision to kick the Greens out of his Government.
