John Stamos reflected on love and loss and supported ‘Full House’ costar Dave Coulier amid his cancer battle
John Stamos is reflecting on the people who mean the most to him as one year wraps up and another begins.
The caption was accompanied by a photo of Stamos with his wife Caitlin McHugh, 38, who he married in 2018, and their son, Billy, 6.“To Caitlin and Billy—you are my heart. Every morning we’ve spent cuddling and laughing together is a memory I’ll hold close forever,” Stamos wrote. “You remind me daily that the simplest moments are often the most meaningful.”
Coulier, 65, was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a form of cancer that fights the body’s lymphatic system and affects “white blood cells called lymphocytes grow abnormally and can form growths throughout the body,” according to the Mayo Clinic.The actor also touched on the loss of childhood friend Mike Owen, who had been best friends with Stamos since they were 11. Owen died in November from a heart attack.
