John Ramsey , the father of JonBenét Ramsey, believes there's a strong connection between his daughter's unsolved murder and another cold case from 1997. JonBenét was found dead in her basement at age 6 in 1996. A girl who attended the same dance studio as JonBenét was assaulted by a masked intruder nine months after JonBenét's death. John Ramsey believes the police dismissed this connection initially.
He recalls a conversation with the then-police chief who said, 'Well, it's not the same because that little girl in the second incident was not murdered.' Ramsey disputes this, stating it's absurd. He believes the intruder in both cases likely hid in the houses for hours before attacking. John has remained convinced there's a link between his daughter's murder and the unsolved attack
