The Ibrox star reckons directed heavy criticism of new boys such as Dessers and Lammers is 'unfair'
John Lundstram insists it’s unfair to single out Rangers’ summer signings for flak - because they’re playing no worse than the rest of the Light Blues’ struggling stalwarts.
“The new lads who have come in are taking the brunt of it but I think it’s a collective thing where everyone is a bit low on confidence right now and not playing to the levels we have played to in the past. Interim boss Steven Davis insisted it’s now time for his squad to put on a united front as they prepare for another tough trip to St Mirren on Sunday. But Lundstram reckons that starts with the individual players looking themselves in the mirror.
Davis was given the thankless task of taking the team in Cyprus. However, the former Northern Ireland skipper could do nothing to lift a group of players whose levels of self belief now look shattered. "The International break is coming up and that's going to give everyone an opportunity to review things. We went to Limassol with optimism that we could take something from the game and build on the Betis result. But unfortunately we caused our own problems and the two goals we conceded were really poor which gave us a mountain to climb.
