Fetterman has been hospitalized since February 16, but he jointly sent a letter to Norfolk Southern on March 1.
In another tweet, Miller added:"Is there a single journalist within the border of the continental United States going to ask the question of how John Fetterman co-authored a letter in the united states [sic]
"He is visiting with staff and family daily, and his staff are keeping him updated on Senate business and news," Fetterman's communications director, Joe Calvello, said in the statement.
