The genre master took the reins on a true-life horror story with Suburban Screams but that's it for now.
Peacock’s upcoming anthology Suburban Screams has an episode centering on the true-crime account of a woman’s experience with a phone stalker, which was interesting enough to draw in 75-year-old legendary horror filmmaker John Carpenter to direct an episode. He also produced the series and composed its theme. While Carpenter is mostly retired, he looked back on his career in a conversation with the Los Angeles Times to promote Suburban Screams.
