Once eligible, Rojas could have pushed for a role as a defense-and-speed fourth outfielder, the spot currently held by Steward Berroa. Rojas struggled in limited major-league opportunities in 2025, hitting .224/.280/.289 in 71 games with the Phillies. He hit .279 in 147 at-bats with Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
