Joel Embiid Focused On Title, 'Whether It's In Philly Or Anywhere Else' - RealGM Wiretap
Joel Embiid had a revealing interview with Maverick Carter discussing his career and his goals, which he hinted could including playing for another team in order to improve his odds of winning a championship.
"I just want to win a championship, whatever it takes," said Embiid."I don't know where that's going to be, whether it's in Philly or anywhere else. I just want to have a chance to accomplish that, I want to see what that feels like to win that first one, and then you can think about the next one. It's not easy, it takes more than one two or three guys.
The Sixers have had an incomplete offseason after James Harden decided to opt into his contract in hopes of a trade. The Sixers are reportedly comfortable bringing back Harden next season if his trade market doesn't improve.
