Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have renewed their contracts at MS NOW through the end of 2029 – just a week after their show It’s an apparent vote of confidence from network chief Rebecca Kutler in the pair, who are two of the longest-serving cable news co-hosts in history and a bright spot in terms of audience and revenue among the network’s beleaguered news programming.

Parent company Versant is recruiting for hundreds more roles across the organization, according to MS NOW. “Morning Joe” has been lauded by MS NOW as an outperformer at the network, consistently beating rival CNN programming in total viewers and the key advertising demo. Its newsletter – The Tea, Spilled by Morning Joe – has racked up more than 116,000 free email subscribers since its launch last October, and the “Morning Joe” podcast is MS NOW’s most-downloaded daily audio podcast, according to the network.
