singer and podcaster India Arie is walking out on Spotify because of Rogan’s “language around race,” according to a post she made on social media.Rogan had author and psychology professor Jordan Peterson on a recent episode of his “Joe Rogan Experience,” and somehow the duo worked into the topic of race when Peterson said that political commentator and professor Michael Eric Dyson called him a “mean, angry white man.

Yahoo Finance said, “Wall Street analysts and investors aren’t convinced the controversy will affect the company’s bottom line.” But, Imran Ahmed, CEO at the Center for Countering Digital Hate told the site, “The short-term decision to profit from misinformation and lies has damaged long-term brand value.”

That, likely, wasn’t entirely due to the artist walking out, to be fair. And, there’s some good news, per Variety, in that the stock did “rebound slightly Friday, closing up 1% to $172.98.
