Joe McFadden claims he won’t be jealous if Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones wins this year’s competition.It’s the only time she’s reached the final but this year she’s the bookies favourite to win with her partner Nigel Harman. And Joe, 47, is thrilled.
Despite lower marks last week from the judges, they are still the bookies’ favourites ahead of Bobby Brazier. Joe admitted while an amazing experience, it was “very, very challenging” and to do well you can’t be “afraid of the unknown.” He was in Agatha Christie play The Mirror Crack’d and they put in a waltz at the start for him to do. He’s also used his skills in panto.Joe, who starred in TV favourites like Scots soap High Road, The Crow Road and Heartbeat, was in Holby City for four years as Raffaello Di Lucca but has since focused on stage work.
It opens at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre from October 25 to October 28 before going to Sheffield, London’s Alexandra Palace and Dartford.
